A story about home, culture, and a small idea that grew into something bigger.

But Pan Bonita is about more than bread.

We’re building something that I think your office — and your constituents — may want to be part of:
We partner with local Hispanic-owned panaderías across the country.
We give small businesses the tools to expand beyond their ZIP code.
We tell the stories of the bakers, the neighborhoods, and the culture that built them.
Every box we ship helps a local baker grow their business. It keeps money in the community. It celebrates heritage. And it gives people — of all backgrounds — a taste of something meaningful.
If you care about supporting small business, cultural tradition, or economic opportunity in your community — we’d love to connect. Whether it’s partnering with local bakeries or simply sharing the story, Pan Bonita is about lifting up people doing meaningful work, one neighborhood at a time.
Maybe even partner with panaderías in your area.

To share a taste of what we’re building — with zero cost or obligation — we’ve included a promo code on your postcard. Use it at the link below to claim a completely free sample standard box.
Gracias for the work you do — and for taking a moment to hear my story.

Con respeto,

Co-Founder, Pan Bonita

Hola,

My name is Lewis Frias — I’m a U.S. Air Force veteran, a small urban farmer, and a proud Hispanic business owner in North Texas. I’m also the co-founder of Pan Bonita, a project that started with a simple question:

“Why isn’t it easier to get pan dulce — something so deeply rooted in our culture — into more hands, more homes, and more communities across the U.S.?”

For many of us, pan dulce is part of our identity. It’s more than a sweet — it’s family, history, tradition. I grew up with it, and I want others to be able to do the same, whether they live in Dallas, Denver, or D.C.
